BESPOKE TAILORING

Beautifully Crafted Clothing Uniquely for You

At Kale Bespoke, we offer bespoke tailoring across a range of garments including business suits, wedding suits, morning suits, dinner suits and a variety of both traditonal and casual separates.

Every one of our bespoke garments is cut and sewn under the supervisions of our Head Cutter, Jon DeBoise. We pride ourselves on a tailoring team made up of the finest coat-makers, trouser-makers, alteration tailors, finishing tailors and pressers.

Each bespoke garment has the input of many craftsmen in its making, and can take up to 80 working hours to construct.

YOUR INITIAL CONSULTATION

Step 1

We establish exactly what you're looking for and how you'll be wearing it.

Step 2

Choose your cloths and linings from hundreds of available options.

Step 3

Specify your styling details, from lapels and pockets to collars and buttons.

Step 4

We take a full set of your body measurements to draft your unique paper pattern.
We start the process with an initial consultation. Once the purpose of your garment has been established - wedding suit, work suit, jacket, separates - we move on to select the appropriate cloth and individual styling details.

Throughout this consultation you can take as long you need, and to ask as many questions as you like, to reach the best decisions on every aspect. We have hundreds of cloths to choose from and specialise in British cloths. However, we also offer selections from the leading mills of Italy, France and the rest of the world.

We then take a full set of your measurements, also making notes on figure and posture, from which we draft your individual pattern, which will be adjusted and refined throughout the fitting process. Once perfected, the pattern is retained for any future orders.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Step 5

We cut your suit in your chosen fabric, from your bespoke paper pattern, ready for your basted fitting.

Step 6

Your basted fitting is where we make any necessary adjustments to your suit, ready for your final fitting.

Step 7

You come back for your final fitting, with the garment made up in your cloth. This is when last tweaks can be made.

Step 8

All alterations are completed, you collect your bespoke garments and take them home.
The garments are then cut in your chosen fabric, from your unique bespoke paper pattern, ready for your basted fitting. This is the fitting where we make any necessary adjustments to your garments, in preparation for your final fitting.

You will then be contacted to attend your final fitting. This is the stage where any final tweaks and adjustments can be made. If needed at all, these are usually minor finishing touches, which can be completed in a short amount of time.

Once all the last alterations and amendments have been made, you can collect your garments and take them home. We can also arrange to send garments out to customers, on request.
